I posted this early this morning...

[Israel began the program of armed citizen guards in the schools after the Maalot massacre in the 1970s, when a large number of children were slain in a terrorist incident. The volunteer parents work in plain clothes, armed with concealed semi-automatic pistols, and are trained by Israels home guard. It is significant that in the more than a quarter century between Maalot and the incident mentioned above when the citizen guards shot down the terrorist in the school in 2002, not a single child was murdered in an Israeli school!]
My thoughts:
If we use volunteer parents, retired military & police officers - and give those people firearm training every 6 months, and reward them with a tax break for service - then the schools become a hardened target and will deter (not completely stop) these types of violent acts.
Second, the Main Street Media need to curb their addiction on covering such incidents 24/7 - getting facts wrong, stating info that comes out to be erroneous, and basically stop giving a voice to these idiots.
We, as US Citizens, must take the time to get involved in our childrens lives - their school system - and the community as a whole. Those persons that may be mentally ill need to be identified - treated by professionals, but also that teaching our children that those that our different are NOT to be bullied, made fun of, but given respect, even thought some might not understand it - but they should not be treated like monsters because of how they were born or the home environment may have produced the behavior everyone else sees.
In the end, being proactive is much better than allowing the MSM to invade the community after a shooting just to be The First to cover an incident - they dont care - and we should - before the fact.
This is the sheriff in the county where I was born. Good for him!
The lady with the gun isn't a teacher. She is an aide of some sort - parent, volunteer.
We also don't know the circumstances of where the photo was taken. It may or may not be on school grounds.
But here is my first hand experience: when I visited Israel in the 1980's our tour group was at an outdoor historical place (Bet Shean, IIRC) and in attendance was a group of 20 or so middle school aged children. Nearby was a nice young fellow in civilian clothes with an M1 carbine. I engaged him in conversation and asked what was going on with the gun. He said (in a Bronx accent) "I'm a guard for these children's field trip."
My understanding is at the schools themselves they are fenced in and have guards of some sort (armed or otherwise). Individuals need to present ID.
I like the idea of what the photo presents, but we have to get our facts straight.
Indeed, sheriff.
The gun is the solution to this.
The gun is the tool and the means of freedom.
The liberal and their love of control, power and death is why our society is unraveling before our eyes.
HOORAY for Butler!
I taught school there in the late ‘60’s and the old schoolhouse in Bellville is one of the oldest continually used school buildings in the nation.
A close friend still subs there occasionally - good to know she will be safe....
Now, for the rest of the nation.....
Can we start a movement to counter what the libs are doing?
Jones said he believes putting guns in schools either assigned law enforcement officers or select teachers or administrators trained in firearms techniques makes the most sense. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
At least some officials like this one have it right.
Good for him! God bless him and speed his course to keep our children safe.

Security experts will tell you that if you have an alarm sign in your yard or window the thieves will usually pass your house and go to the one without the sign.
A “We don’t call 911” will make them pass your house and go to the house that has the obama sign.
