^ You are onto something with that idea! Why do we have schools sitting empty most of the late afternoon, evening and weekends when they could be used as dispatch centers, data processing, meeting areas etc for LE.
Of course, then private schools could become a target but even so police and/or parents could patrol with a CCW. If lib parents don’t like it, take your kids someplace else.

After 9/11, no one suggested every Muslim that flies on an airplane is a killing machine because of a few, radical, nut jobs that mass murdered with planes? Am I to think that every Muslim on a plane is going to hijack it and fly it into a building because a few did? Should we restrict them from flying...just in case? Should they be restricted to walking so they can not use a vehicle as a weapon? How many people did they murder and they are still flying...whose life changed after that massacre?

I'm sure you do but the reality is that any teachers who in the future may be allowed to carry a concealed weapon won't have the extensive seal team and anti-terrorist training that you obviously have and certainly won't have the ballistist knowledge of ammunition that you are proudly touting.......

Tht Romney pushing, anti-Second Amendment phoney Kraphammer was calling for this kind of a sit down discussion.
We had a sit down discussion - in 1787. One of the products was the Bill of Rights. The Right to keep and bear arms was the Second item on that agenda.
The minds that met there far exceeded the experience and mental capabilities of sinister trolls like Bennett and Kraphammer (LONG TIME anti-Second Amendment drones) and the other idiots like Bloomberg, etc, who are SALIVATING at this tragedy as an excuse to excise the Right to keep and bear arms from the Constitution.
Yet the homos kill millions with AIDs and they demand we tolerate it.
They kill millions of babies waiting to be born, and then celebrate it as a right.
They want the elderly to die so more will be left for them, and they call it "fairness."
They want to disarm the population, so only criminals and politicians (actually they're the same thing these days) will have the guns.

I have an AR-10. It is very big and heavy compared to an AR-15 chambered for the Russian ammo.
With a laser, a second rapid shot would not be necessary, so the increased kick would not be a big deal.
Regarding the wall penetration problem, there may be some non-full metal jacket mushrooming ammo out there - I do not know.
