The problem with doing this thread, week after week, year after year, is it is getting so old, so predictable, and really focuses one’s mind to intimately know that the driveby media has an agenda.

Not to say we all haven’t figured it out; we see it every day.

But it’s days—or Sunday’s like this, you just know that these relenless partisans are going to sing and dance on the newly dug graves of others to get their collective way.

It’s beyond disgusting. Words fail me.

Morning AB.....

.....very good point.

Am singing this morn at the 10 am mass. Will be back after that.

I will leave with my thoughts on the matter. Warning that I am often wrong on my opinion; I thought Romney would win by a landslide.

But if those politicos, worthless beings all of them, think that they are going to use this to take away America’s guns, it won’t work folks.

Any attempt at gun control stopped at 9-11-01. Can’t explain why, but it did.

I just don’t see Americans, sappy fools all of us at times, as being so naive as to think that meekly handing over their guns will somehow protect this from happening again. The world has guns. This Conn. guy, the gun control laws worked. He couldn’t purchase a gun for a waiting period and he was restless. So he stole his mother’s weaponry.

Us idiots out here in la la land know that stealing and/or obtaining a gun for illegal purposes is easy enough and us being without guns is no solution.

They’ll try.

But it won’t work.

There are just some things that are profoundly sad. This is one of them.

It’s like the lion cub. I saw it on 60 Minutes few weeks ago. It was real footage, shot in a jungle in real time.

It was heart-breaking.

A herd of water buffalo stampeded when pursued by a female lion and her cubs. One of her cubs was in the way of the frantic beasts and got run over. They broke his little back.

There he was, stuck in the mud, unable to move his back parts. His Mom called and called him but he whimpered and couldn’t get to her. She went over to him and in a last ditch attempt, she pulled him up by the scruff. She then dropped him, expecting him to run and follow her. She did not understand that his back was broken, he was paralyzed from below his neck down.

While she sat there waiting for the cub to come to her, precious little baby, did. He pulled himself up by his front legs and hopped over to her. It was as if he wanted to say “I’m here Mom. I can move but have to hop a bit.”:

She couldn’t stay with him. She couldn’t very well carry him all over the jungle for the rest of his life so she had to leave him to die.

That cub meant as much to that mama lion as those children did to their parents.

Like I told my granddaughter, sometimes profoundly sad things happen and we can’t do anything about it.

Crazy people get guns. They get box cutters, they get knives, they kill their spouses and enemies and on and on.

Profoundly sad things happen at times.

Actually, AB, your words are right-on. I’d add that a dramatically distinguishing feature at this point is the VERY STALIN-LIKE personality cult that has arisen rather fast around Obama, who inevitably asserts himself as the focal point of everything and anything that happens, including the Conn. tragedy and its aftermath of sick politicking.

Despite a story of immense tragedy at one end (the victims) and bizarre and gut-wrenching confusions and contradictions at the other (the shooter, his mother, etc.), today’s LEAD STORY it turns out is that Obama is going to Conn to grieve and mourn and have his picture taken.

My point?

In less than 5 years we have rushed straight from the 1905 storming of the Winter Palace to Stalin’s all-encompassing cult of personality in the 1950s—a time when all occurrences in Russia and the bloc nations were filtered through HIM, Stalin’s presence and aura being the SOLE CONTEXT for Reality Itself.

And let’s not kid ourselves about all this. Before long even activities such as national mourning and specific and personal feelings like grief will hook directly to Obama’s belt as they did Stalin’s—if they haven’t already.

It’s worth recalling that in the Gulag, as told by Solzenhitsyn, when Stalin himself died, the news was met by the inmates with mass grief and in many cases hysteria—so compelling was the cult of personality that Stalin’s own prisoners and “fall guys” agonized at his death.

We’re heading this way, we’ll be there soon, thanks to the DEVOTION of the apparatchik media we have, far more sophisticated and intoxicating than Pravda or any of that.

To dupe your own victims as Stalin did, as Obama is doing, is the master stroke for sure. Obama’s license to commit hypocrisies and manipulations unlike any ever committed is now grandiose, and to him and his sycophants has certainly been interpreted as god-like power and authority.

Actually, to them and him, he has surpassed God by laps. And as for the rest of us, we can only observe with disgust and maybe wonder why Poppa Barack has yet to travel to Mexico to mourn and grieve with all the families of victims slain with his own arsenal of Fast and Furious (buy your own pet cartel) weapons.

But that little adventure will likely only unravel in unread archives after the fall—which at this amazing pace of decline might come sooner than any of us imagine.
