Throughout this article the word “budget” is used. What Budget?? We’re borrowing all this money and somebody says they “cut” funding? They may have redirected the money, but using the word “cut” is BS.
Perhaps this could be their reality check. No need to indulge their unicorn utopia fantasies when children are getting killed.
Also, what exactly is the purpose of Homeland Security?

So without starting another TSA style agency what would this guy do to actually prevent something like this? There isn’t a whole lot that can be done short of militarizing every class room in the country to prevent some insane person from going off the deep end and committing an atrocity like this. It is a horrible thing for the kids at this school to experience but having every kid in America live in constant fear is not the answer.

The liberal principle would probably call the cops, and they would arrest you as dangerous red necked conservative with guns.
The central government has nothing whatsoever to do with the security arrangements at a particular elementary school.
