Here's a little background for anyone willing to do their homework.
Do you know anyone who works in a a busy ER? I mean the kind that draws patients from a wide area.
Ask them how mental illness and drug abuse are impacting the mission to take care of acute onset patients.
Did you know that many ERs, more and more, actually have *boarding* facilities for the violently mentally ill...right next to you who have come in to get your daughter's ear infection treated.
A madhouse in your ER.
I'll keep my guns, thank you very much.
We hope we can keep our guns. They’re going to have to come after me one on one.
But sometime there is going to be a tipping point and gun ownership will be debated.
I’m willing to give concessions to try to keep crazy people from getting them and/or securing your guns so crazies can’t get them.
