I wonder, if the principal’s office had access to shotguns or rifle and someone who knew how to use it, would that have helped? Either answer (yes or no) is useless inside the woodsy suburban CT “safe” mentality - like the Petit home invasion in Cheshire CT - not a judgment, a fact after many resident years observation. Felt like throwing up after hearing the story of an evil person shooting kindergarteners. I predict “gun control” platitudes will be the only thing that will come out of Connecticut political “leaders”. God save us all.
Calling 911 just did not cut it. What would have?

With this push for more gun control, it is time to not only push back but push back hard. All of the hollywood idiots need to STFU. They are not paid to give us political opinion, they are paid to entertain us. If I start talking politics with my job in customer support, that would piss my customers off.
When you have a Godless immoral society of self-satisfying hedonists devoid of faith, self-respect and honor , freaks like Lanza will emerge.

The left is going to use this to outlaw guns and they will win. The absolute horror of this crime will overwhelm any effort to defend gun ownership. The images of the families of those murdered kids will be shown relentlessly until Congress, especially the House, passes a bill outlawing anything but bolt action hunting rifles and three round shotguns. I can’t see any gun rights defender even thinking of appearing on TV at this time.

Don’t these guys have people who bear arms for them, I.e. “security”?

Are these “stars” going to give up their armed body guard protection? How about the President and Congress. How about Hillary?
They don’t need armed guards if all the guns are banned, right? They just need to be strong enough to fight off an attacker. They won’t mind doing that like they propose for the rest of us.
When Mayor bloomers disarms his guards and the police, I will believe he really is anti-gun. But he’s a self anointed prince. Guns to protect him...every else can die by the hands of the criminals they let out of prison.
Whatever they want on the people, has to apply to the government, too. They don’t need armed police and guards. They kill innocent people all the time. They don’t need the military being armed, either.
When the economic hammer falls down, at least there will be no demand for these “celebs” tv and movies and no one to watch them. I long for the day that today’s celebs become irrelevant.
