If I remember correctly they were both taking some kind of brain medication (Ritalin, or some similar drugs). Having an atheistic worldview (remember they targeted some Christian students) was probably a bigger factor, but I believe a lot of these mass shootings have a common thread of the instigators having had their brains mucked around with various psychotropic drugs.

You got that right, Selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) like Prozac and the like can really mess up your mind. They’re great for those that really need them but they are dangerous as hell for those that don’t. The risk of suicide goes way up with these and almost every mass shooting in the past 30 years the shooter was on these type of drugs.
