So much for Obama’s “you gotta go through me first” BS.

Now we are stuck with that arrogant pompous obnoxious gasbag gigolo senator from MA. I think Rice would have been preferable to that blowhard.

Watch out for Senator Hagel joining the cabinet .... What a low standard...

Hagel should change his registration like Charlie Crist. And so should Colon Bowel. Some people I guess enjoy being the skunk at the picnic.

Aw, too bad. Guess it’ll be John F’ing Kerry, who served in Vietnam.

Yeah, but Hagel is supposed to be at Defense when Panetta bails.

Doesn’t matter to me, they’re all corrupt.

I am someone who, contrary to most opinion here at FR, is sympathetic to Boehner’s position. I heard Rush ripping him today for saying “tax increases alone” aren’t the solution. My read on the situation is that Boehner is looking at political reality...Obamugabe, the Kenyan Clown, is occupying the Oval Office. He won by running for tax increases.

Of course, the election ALSO kept the House in the hands of the GOP...and the GOP ran on spending cuts.

So Boehner seems willing to concede BOTH wishes of the electorate: allowing for more revenue/tax increase (by the way, closing the loopholes is what Romney proposed) BUT also insisting that spending be cut.

Anyway, I know I’m off base here....these thoughts should be in a different thread. I just don’t think of Boehner as the same as Hagel...that was my point.

Obama's willingness to let our men be murdered in an act of war in Libya shouldn't be ignored just because his appointed liar in the case is going away.

I'm not so sure about that. Rice is a very serious, intelligent and committed to the cause person. sKerry is a dufus. It will be a horrible thing to have a traitor as Sec State but he might not be able to do as much damage as someone with a brain who works hard.

I COMPLETELY disagree.

Who do you think could have been opposed more effectively for the last four years:

000bama or Hillary?????

EVERY single time 000 was opposed, the response was “racism”.

No, no, no, J. FFFing Kerry is better there than SRice.

After the Civil War, when General Scholfield was made SoD (or War) he gave himself the Congressional MoH, while he, Sherman, and Grant rewrote the history of the conflict as a movie starring themselves and saying bad stuff about others.

Hopefully, I say hopefully, Kerry will do the same and give me and himself the MoH. I was valiant in action against the Germans during Vietnam. Every night, conducting patrols through Wiesbaden and Frankfurt, rousting tough and determined combattants (a few of whom were actually ...gasp ...men) out of one heavily fortified weinstube after another with no thought to my health or personal safety. Thank God we outnumbered them.

Finally, a SoD who will recognize my sacrifice. Talk PTSS, will you? I got it bad!

OK.OK. Forget the medal. I'll settle for a liver transplant, courtesy of the VA.

Have some more Kool-Aid. This is a committed Leftist whose only brave act was to go out and spout the lies in hopes of the reward of the office. Qualification? Good Melanin.

Worry not. She will be amply rewarded by the regime and given in marriage to Reggie Love by the Reverend Wright.

Well, genius, what do you think "committed to the cause" means? You should stop drinking out of the toilet the worms are eating your brain.

There's the Brown factor ~ you do a lot of flying around doing this and that it increases your chances of dying in a plane wreck.

Just going to the Senate 4 days a week keeps John too safe.

Gee, if Jon effin' were to suffer a Brown-out I don't think I could take it.

I might do something inappropriate like laugh out loud.

Susan Rice drops out of Secy of State contention——and not a moment too soon.

The buzz is she was adjusting her jock strap and going on Sunday TV talk to tell the nation that the WH’s Benghazi talking points included the tidbit that Pearl Harbor was sparked by a Charlie Chan movie.
