Unions have a CIVIL RIGHT to enslave non-union members.

Jimmy Hoffa.,, Jimmy Hoffa, are you freaking serious?, he’s the guy you have to trot out to defend unions?.,, in a world that made any kind of sense, that would be hilarious., but I guess in the world as it is now, where right is wrong, evil is good, work is punished and being a slack pos is admirable, I suppose it does make sense to have the son of union / mafia goon brought out to extoll the virtues of unions.

Who are they going to war with? People who don’t show up cause they don’t sign up?

Like Snyder said, if they return value to workers for belonging, then the workers will belong. It’s now a free choice.

If signing up for AAA is valuable to a traveler, then they’ll sign up and keep it. If it isn’t, they either won’t sign up or they won’t keep it.

Citizens don’t need the government requiring folks to sign up for AAA’s invisible service.

Quick! We need about 3 more states to run with right to work legislation so Hoffa's head explodes.

Good afternoon.

...We're going to have a civil war,"

I have heard that exact quote or/and something very similar from various left wing media sources since the election. Why?

Is it the "revenge," 0bama was talking about during the campaign? Is it the class warfare he and his campaign campaigned upon?

Why all of the hostile rhetoric? They won, didn't they?

There is a bad moon arising. Be ready, check your stores, commo and logistics. You won't have time later.

Too little, too late. Even with right to work, the home of the UAW is too entrenched in the union mantra. And it’s not the private sector unions they have to worry about, it’s to public sector ones. The largest employer in the state of Michigan, is the State of Michigan. Expect all of the public sector employees to turn on their own government and residents.

The state of Michigan will need to also re-configure its relationship with the public sector unions. They are the true cancer.

This is just the first round of a battle that's going to divide this state. We're going to have a civil war,"

Labor unions already are causing a war on the economy:

Economic effects of labor unions :

1) cause or perpetuate unemployment
2) cause artificial inequalities in wage rates if confined to isolated industries
3) combat rise in real wages in combating rise in productivity of labor
4) frustrate the law of comparative advantage and prevent the less able from outcompeting the more able
5) the greater the extent of wage increases achieved by labor unions, the more severe become the effects of minimum-wage laws
6) impair capital accumulation by reducing productivity of capital goods
7) monopolize the market against the less able and the disadvantaged
8) prevent increase in money and spending from increasing employment
9) promote racial discrimination
10) reduce average real wage rates by causing unemployment and a lower productivity of labor
11) reduce fraction of worlds money supply circulation in United States
12) responsible for inability of American industries to compete against foreign competitors
13) unemployment caused by labor unions worsens consequences of job loss
14) wage demands of labor unions can lead to more raid increases in quantity of fiat money if government seeks to avoid resulting unemployment by this means
