IIRC his will was to be buried modestly in some particular village. His wife wanted him buried as well. Stalin saw the use in a secular relic though, so there he lies. I’ve seen him twice. I think they replaced his hands at some point.

They probably replaced his hands with calloused ones because like modern lefty idealists, he probably never put in a day of hard physical labor in his life...

I was told many years ago that with the collapse of the USSR communism was dead. I laughed then and I'm still laughing.

Sadly, it is now here with our current pos potus

Sort of like what they say is the devil’s greatest trick: pretending he doesn’t exist

Where are all the anti-American goosestepping Putinistas to explain to us that Putin is a great Christian patriot who loves his country?

What a laugh! Putin compares Lenin's dessicated mummy to the holy relics of Christian saints, and the leader of the Russian Communist Party agrees wholeheartedly!

Putin's religion is clearly not Christianity, but the religion of Leninism.

Once a Chekist, always a Chekist!

Putin's father was NKVD and his grandfather was Lenin's cook! Putin can no more disown Lenin and the EVIL EMPIRE than he can disown his father and his grandfather who loyally served Soviet Communism just like he did!

Christian patriots did not loyally serve the KGB like Putin, they are the ones who fought the KGB and were persecuted by stupid evil thugs like Putin!

Down with the satanic tyrant Putin!

Russia without Putin!

No, his greatest trick was getting so many to think God doesn’t exist.

I see the head Russian community agitator, I mean organizer, is keeping the first modern day successful organizer above ground. Who would have thought........

Meanwhile the remains of Tsar Nicholas’s two youngest children are sitting in a cardboard box somewhere while they decide whether or not to give them a state funeral and bury them with the rest of the family.

Leave him there as a remembrance of folly. I believe it is better for Russians to see this fool there and remember the millions killed and say "never again"
