Snyder holding a press conference in a few. (5:45) I think he’s signing tonight after all.

I read your post. The Titanic analogy is one that I have used before.
Thanks for the lifestream link, ‘creek. I am watching (nothing so far) and listening to the music.
Thanks for the heads...They’re signed!!!!
ON NOW. Just said he signed those bills into law! HOORAY Rick Snyder!!! WOOOOOHOOOOOO!
That’s “heads up” and WoooHooo is right!
Good deal! Now the thugs can't occupy their way into stopping him. It's passed. Now, on to the liberal judges.
Rick Snyder has cemented himself as possibly the greatest governor in Michigan history. Standing up for individual citizens against something FORCED by a collective on individual citizens. Now, as for the FEDGOV...re: 10th amendment.
HOORAY Rick Snyder! Thank you, sir.
Amen! I’m very happy for all you Michigan FReepers.
bump
If that's true, please tell me someone captured that on video. Instant classic.
What makes this so interesting is how fast this happened.....like BOOM!!! Not enough time for the “Wisconsin like parades and circuses”.
Somewhere in Madison, there’s a bunch of union thugs saying “hey Obama, WHERE WERE YOU during the recall process and our struggles!!!”
I believe Obama was worried about his reelection, so he didn’t get involved in Wisconsin. Now that he’s assured of 4 more years, I fully expect him to get involved in state matters every chance he gets.
Anyone know if these bills also eliminate union dues auto-deduction from paychecks?
This Buckeye would like to see Ohio follow Michigan’s lead.
This will be a huge boon to the US auto industry, and can’t help but improve quality as the unions lose power.

Good, he’s seasoned, now throw him in the fire, his flesh will feed 5000.
Yeah, I figured the first part, didn’t know about the second. Yes, that’s what’s needed. It will require the employee to decide whether the union is worth the money he or she has to *personally* pay them as opposed to money being deducted before they ever see it. When you have to write a check every month or you have to watch it be deducted from your bank account, you care more about it.
