I think the wolf reintroduction program has been such a resounding success that we should replicate it all along both the east and west coasts. Every native predator should be brought up to historical populations. Start in VA, then NY and CA. Hundreds of wolves and cougars should be let loose in Washington DC, NYC, Boston, Los Angeles, San Francisco, et al.

Exactly. These liberal airheads want to feel good about themselves, thinking there are wolfs et al still roaming about, but in a place that will not affect themselves in the slightest. They don't give a damn about some rancher's livelihood. Set some wolves loose in SanFran and see how quickly they start whistling a different tune.

Share the joy! I entirely agree. Maybe the cloning people can get to work on the dire wolf and sabre-toothed tiger remains they find at LaBrea Tar Pits in Los Angeles. The clones can be released to re-populate their natural habitat.
