"It’s everyone for themselves in these last days. Belonging to any organization has become very dangerous."

I know what you mean CB and right now I don't belong to any church congregation. However while I was for many years it was that "everyone for themselves" that kept me going for so long. The pull of organizations is strong and has many numbers. It was not easy to be there knowing thinking that were I to reveal all that I believed I would possibly have been...well I don't know really...I had the impression they considered me radical. From God's Spirit I kept getting...'this is between Me and thee' so the constant looking down because of what was happening around me in church (and everywhere else)said much about my relationship with Jesus.

What I thought was encouraging and edifying to others in church was seemingly met with apathy.Or it wasn't understood. It seems that much of Christianity simply does not understand or comprehend John 6:29 I'm glad of the fellowship here with many believers having no trouble holding up His Word as THE authority to which all others must account.

I don't think we will all stay away from organizations for ever.It may be that the whole reason we aren't there now is that we might go there later one last time,if you get my drift.

Oh I get your drift! And we most certainly will. But it won’t be an “organization” the way most think of that term. An assembly would be the word I would use. Looking forward to seeing you there!

And let me say I understand the blank looks and apathy of many in those “organizations”. I slowly began to understand that not all had that personal relationship but were only there either because of “tradition”, guilt, or some need to belong. Indeed it is a blessing to find true followers here and it brought a smile to my face reading your post but also the sadness that one gets realizing how many are really not “there”.
