me too! I thought it would all be over. I especially like the ones from rience priebus. after a few angry responses - which made me feel good but accomplished nothing - I unsubscribed. Going to follow your lead and unsub from ALL conservative groups till they get their act together.
Same here. The only “idea” any of these people seem to have is “Send $25.”
Over the past years since the Republican party turned its back on freedom loving citizens, I have taken the time to respond to every telephone call for money and letters begging me to be a good Republican by sending more money.
My response on the telephone is “F___K You” and I return the payment via mail with no money in their prepaid envelope but a pre-printed large message that says “F___K You.”
Over the years I don’t get any calls or letters from the Republican “sissies” any longer. It just breaks my heart.
I got a call last week looking for money. I told them no and they kept lowering the dollar amount and I kept saying no...
The guy was sort of befuddled and then I told him the GOP was so “yesterday” and that come 2014 there will be a new party to replace them.
my spouse who has been a registered republican for 50 years, just changed his registration to “Independent” and I will do the same
Maybe that will reduce the junk mail
It sure would send a message if enough of us did it
Actually “independent” is a better 3rd party identifier than TEA party
I would be leery of any emails claiming to be The Tea Party asking for donations. The scammers know people will trust The Tea Party over the GOP.
I’ve concluded that what most conservative outlets are interested in is stick you for money. Even the pedigreed conservative news outlets.
Lots of donation forms and begging letters; well-hidden mail addys.
If you have anything over at all which is less and less the case for many of us, give it to FR.
I've blocked some friends and relatives too - anything with "FWD" in the title doesn't even get opened.
With the electorate being as polarized as it is, I wonder how many political organizations accepting donations are outright scams. The RNC is probably the biggest and most established. LOL
The Republican and Democrat parties get lists of people who register to vote in the primaries and general election. And there is no way around this if you want to vote in the primaries.
However, if they glean information from other databases of personal information, you can obfuscate these by using false or partially false data, which you record so you know who is selling your information.
