It was at that point this morning that I totally lost hope for this country. We are too divided. Its going to take an utter miracle or a bloody civil war to change things. I am depressed, for our country has turned its back on its Creator and is utterly and completely doomed.

I'm getting closer to this camp too. I'll leave it this way. Robert A. Heinlein said in "Starship Troopers" that "the use of naked force (or threats of it, added by me) has solved more problems in history than any other." Come to think of it, the history that was written in the book, the U.S. was like what it is now until a group of veterans and the military got together and took over. BTW, it was written in 1959.

It's sad to say, but our adversaries understand only two things, force and the threat of force.

Just imagine the look on John Wayne's face if you had told him all the crap that goes on today. If someone had suggested the rules we go by today, back in the 50’s and 60’s they would have been laughed out of town.

So many compromises have been made, there's just no room to pull back. We are in the corner now, and I think it is going to get ugly, and uglier maybe for the rest of my days.
