Oh, I'm going to have to strongly disagree with you here...
It has nothing to do with it being legal or not. But the fact is, the media sells THEMSELVES as being nonpartisan and not biased, and that is a big lie.
Maybe it's the word complaining, so I'll say--we shouldn't complain, but rather educate. We need to attack the media over every little lie, smear and innuendo, as well as their ommissions of facts that contradicate the meme they're trying to build. Twist and turn their biased questions like Chuck U. Shumer does. Hog the microphone, don't be little boy blue Milquetoast Mr Nice Guy.
Attack, attack, attack. NEVER surrender. Challenge them every step of the way.
Frankly, when's the last time we did this? Spiro Agnew? I think Agnew did a pretty good job taking the fight to them, if only the majority of conservatives had joined him.
Don't go on their shows. If you do, bring up the bias right away--call them on it. Bring up well published examples that, for example, Accuracy in Media or Rush has EVERY day.
I strongly believe it has been our quiet, no rebuking and rebutting of Left Wing media bias and advocacy that has led us to where we are today--in Obama's soon to be second term.
There's no way this communist should have been elected in the first place if the media had done their job telling the truth about him, and, MOST importantly, Republicans and conservatives alike going absolutely off the f'n handle when they didn't.
Bush didn't defend himself and neither did McCain. We stood by pretty much idily while the excoriate Sarah Palin and Christine O'Donnel, to name a few.
The fact that we DON'T have a vocal sense of outrage anymore is what's doing us in more than anything else, in my humble opinion.
Hear here!
