We do vote correctly much of the time. Our elected representatives change our minds for us, ipso facto.

I get a kick out of FReepers who denigrate the politics of a certain state, e.g. Massachusetts, California, New Jersey, etc.. When I click on their About page to see which paradise they live in, it usually comes up, oh, I don't know, Michigan or Illinois or even, gasp, New York! j/k
The only place that I've ever lived that passed the smell test is Wyoming. Texas might be close, but I've never lived there.
