“No one wants Bohners job to be Os bitch.”

Right. Why would a real conservative ruin their reputation that way?

“No deal will be made this year. Next year??”

Dems dont want a deal. They feel that they can do better next year. Boehner should be passing his ‘no tax hike’ bill.

GOP position should be simple:
EXTEND THE TAX RATES FOR ONE YEAR.
DEFER OBAMACARE TAX INCREASES ONE YEAR.
We get one more year before another cliff hits and in the meantime, use it to fix entitlements, reform taxes and cut spending.

Done!

Be realistic. Republicans will just get the blame for the coming tax increase and then they will cave and giive in as their own state voters turn against them. There is no state with a majority of even Republicans who are willing to ppay higher taxes just because those making more than them have to.
It doesnt take a crystal ball to see how that would play out. And they always end up weaker when it does.

Republicans best chances are to pass a separate bill extending income under $250K, and if they like another over $250, and send them both to the Senate and call Os bluff.
O is demanding other stuff with it anyway but he is not saying that to the voters on his “Tell Republicans not to raise your taxes to protect the rich” tour. call his bluff and get on TV and accuse O of playing games with middle class taxes

Watch O beat Rs time after time (past two years is very old.)
