A perfect example of liberals creating “jobs” by spending OPM. It doesn't work when you start with a flawed premise. Unbelievable.
In contrast I started a film company in OH 3 years ago and didn't get---or ask for---one dime of gubment money. We completed our first film, "Rockin' the Wall" on time and on budget (www.rockinthewall.com) and sold it. Our distributor paced it first with PBS where it is airing now and with Dish beginning Jan. 1. Tax credits work against small, up and coming companies because the only kick in at $350,000---above the price of films lie ours. So Clooney sweeps in and gets $3-4 million for "Up inthe Air" but leaves no keast n infrastructure, while mop anise such as mine that DO operate here see none of the $$$ ---not that we mwant it. I'd prefer all the credits go away and let's get Nestor's who believe n the movies and the make good, profitable films.
