Good thinking. Frying several million people to death in “retaliation” for the murder of a child they did not know seems like a eminently rational response - one that will surely prove to the survivors that we are truly civilized and that they are the “savages.”
Thing is they would do it in a heartbeat if they had the chance or were able. We on the other hand vent anger at their ROP by words, not murderous deeds.

I said obliterate the `holy’ city of Mecca and reveal to the world’s Muslims that their religion is a lie. If their “Allah” can’t protect his sacred site from any infidel nuke, then Islam is nothing but a house of cards and Muslims worship a false god.
FYI the Hajj to Mecca is once a year only. Hit it any other time & collateral deaths are minimized like when we nuked Japan but saved the majority of Japanese civilian lives.
