I suspect Boehner and Obama have already cut a deal. They are just playing games with the public.

0bama will ALWAYS run circles around the Republicans because THE NEWS MEDIA ARE HIS EMPLOYEES!!!

It seems like all the mainstream media political analyst's are saying the Republicans MUST reach a deal or they will pay some terrible political price. All the polls show that the public will blame them...etc.
My question is, Exactly what would that price be? There isn't an election for two more years so they can't be removed from office. If recent history is any example, the American voters memories are about one month long. After 3 and 1/2 awful years of Obama, they were swayed by a month or two of good economic data into voting for him again. So I'd say the Republican risk very little...

I hate to admit it but when it comes to negotiating, Obama makes a monkey out of our side.
My solution is simple: if anyone pays taxes, everyone pays taxes.
They say there are 47 million who pay no taxes. I say they should all pay something, if only 2%.
