Deposed GOP lawmaker suggests he could vote against Boehner as Speaker (Boehner's Purge Scorecard)

Rep. Justin Amash (R-Mich.) suggested Friday he might not support Rep. John Boehner (R-Ohio) for Speaker.

-snip-

Amash and the other members kicked from the committees — Reps. Tim Huelskamp (R-Kan.), Walter Jones (R-N.C.), and David Schweikert (R-Ariz.) — are known for not supporting leadership on votes. Boehner told GOP lawmakers at a closed-door meeting this week that leaders would be watching their votes, participants said.

Amash, who lost a spot on the House Budget Committee, urged Boehner to release the voting scorecard that led to the decision.

"It's pretty clear that they had a scorecard and if you were in support of more government you got a positive score and if you're in support of less government you got a negative score which seems completely contrary to what you'd expect from Republicans," Amash said.

Might not? How much more does Boehner need to pee into his coffee cup before he decides this the Boner is not leadership material?

If Boehner agrees to one dime in increased taxes, he should go — regardless of whether he calls them “revenues” instead of taxes or just “closing loopholes” instead of higher rates....

How hard is it to understand that our federal government is bringing in more than enough money and that it just needs to spend less, a vast amount less?

Well they only need to get 12 more to vote no and Boehner is out. I’m going to email my rep and tell him Tammy Faye needs to go.

Yes Boehner needs to go, but the bigger question in my mind is do I need to change my party affiliation from Republican to independent or a so-called “third” Conservative party. I’m very close to that, but I would prefer to time my switch with millions of others so that the GOP gets the message that its days are numbered and that conservatives are willing to venture into the wilderness of total Democrat control in order to kill the anti-conservative element of the party on the “right.”

We may have to be willing to let the country go to hell in order to rise up again.

You aren’t going to get 218 votes for a different Republian.

Your only hope is to replace him with a Democrat, but not Pelosi.

Purge Boehner.
Spit on Boehner.
F*rt in Boehner’s general direction.
Ditch Boehner.
Drown Boehner.
Hang Boehner.
Drop Boehner from a plane.
Send Boehner into the sun.
Give Boehner to the Taliban.
anything that has the result of:
Gettting that RINO SOB OUT OF THE HOUSE LEADERSHIP.
Not now, but yesterday.

Seriously, put Mark Levin up to run for Speaker of the House. We need a Patton now, and Levin would stand for right.

is there an easy way to compare the voting records of those removed with Boehners record to see which votes were different?

What happens if he gets more than Pelosi, but not a majority? The house has no speaker, but what is the process in the house with no speaker.
