146,000 Jobs Added In November, Beat Expectation Of 85,000, Unemployment Rate Lower At 7.7%
Zero Hedge ^

Looks like Sandy was not an issue at all in the November jobs report which beat in both the number of jobs added, at 146,000 on expectations of 85,000, while the unemployment rate declined to 7.7% from 7.9%, where it was expected to post as well. Watch this space next month for prio revisions: September and October saw 49K downward revisions combined. November will suffer the same fate.

"Only 350,000 dropped out of the labor force last month."

According to this article it appears 540K dropped out of the work force. Half a million workers magically disappear.

AP: And the unemployment rate fell to a four-year low in November from 7.9 percent in October mostly because more people stopped looking for work and weren’t counted as unemployed.

Even propaganda machine can’t help telling some truth.

I can't believe people are buying this, but since so many voted for him (fraud aside) I guess they must be.

Does it ever occur to people that every month we hear that unemployment has dropped, even more jobs were created than expected, that economy is revving up...And yet they still can't find a job, their friends still can't find jobs, the cost of goods is higher than ever, taxes are going up...Good-gosh-almighty people are are breathtakingly stupid creatures.

Bush's fault! /sarc

It’s sounds like Barry and the ‘RATS are doing their own version of The Rapture.

November jobs report which beat in both the number of jobs added, at 146,000...

Which is pathetic. Doesn't even cover population growth.

Unfortunately, the SCM (state controlled media) is trying to convince the general public that this is the new "normal."

You’re doing the job the MSM won’t do.

Sadly this astounding fact will be unknown to 98.6% of Americans.

Being totally in the dark about how much more they're gonna owe the government next year apparently makes businesses feel like spending more money.

Once you fall off unemployment your sleazy lawyer has got the SSI disability benefit lined up.

1 You now are off the stats for unemployment.

2 You still get govt $$$.

3 You now get your monies tax-free, until you die, or until the bank breaks.

So the data says there are 120K fewer people employed despite 190K more people entering the work-eligible population. How can they claim any new jobs were created?

350,000 workers dropped out of the workforce, and 229,000 fell off the unemployment roles, and somehow these 567,000 people magically "disappear."
Everything is coming up roses! Happy days are here again!

If Oboma keeps up this "people disappearing act" for another year, unemployment will be down to 0% in no time!

The Repubs need to come at this number by saying there are 350,000 less Americans working and paying taxes. More reason to cut Obambi’s spending.

Christmas hires? The unemployment numbers will rise dramatically again in January. Funny watching the MSM drool all over themselves thinking we’ve turned the corner in our economic troubles. The rest of us know this is the calm before the storm.

Keep talking like that and some more of us may “disappear” before ya know it. LOL! Yup, really odd that we “actually” see a drop in the unemployment “claims”. Another “unexpected” result of uncle obie’s omnipotence I guess. In retrospect, did the dems ever seem really concerned leading up to the election? Kind of like obie’s comment to medvedev about having more flexibility after the election. Like there was no doubt that he would be back in. I’m startin’ to think that all of the dems could have stayed home on 11/6 and we would have had the same outcome.

Share the lead.
