What is the difference between buying votes with “jobs programs” then and buying votes now with Obama phones, free tuition, bailouts, and “free healthcare”?
FDR created the impression that he was putting people to work. Obama will create no such impression. I’m not saying Obama won’t successfully buy a large fraction of the vote, but in 2016 the personality cult of Obama won’t be running and the Democrat party will own the second recession %100 if we just let them have their way.
If Republicans obstruct, all they can do is buy time.
