The question then becomes:
When will the US have a President that will act with strength and courage instead of subservience and cowardice?

The US still has the PRC by the short hairs, and should have them for quite a while longer.

If they want to try playing hardball, it will not go well with the public - for any public official going along with China would end up losing an election.

Now if Nixon hadn’t opened the dialogue with China in the first place, or had the US decided to use Tiananmen Square as an opportunity to replace a (still) despotic regime, the problem wouldn’t be as bad as it is now. However, the US decided on appeasement and this is the consequence.

ASEAN Regional Forum (ARF)
The ASEAN Regional Forum (ARF) is a key forum for security dialogue in Asia. It draws together 27 countries which have a bearing on the security of the Asia Pacific region.

Background to the ASEAN Regional Forum
The ASEAN Regional Forum (ARF) was established in 1994. It comprises 27 countries the 10 ASEAN member states (Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam) the 10 ASEAN dialogue partners (Australia, Canada, China, the EU, India, Japan, New Zealand, ROK, Russia and the United States), one ASEAN observer (PNG) as well as the DPRK, Mongolia, Pakistan, Timor-Leste, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.

The ARF is a key forum for security dialogue in Asia, complementing the various bilateral alliances and dialogues. It provides a setting in which members can discuss current regional security issues and develop cooperative measures to enhance peace and security in the region.

So what’s going on? Did the US get the proverbial boot?

“America’s great economic strength, namely its capacity to innovate, exists mainly in memory four years after the 2008 economic crisis...”

Huh? What is this moron talking about?

Globally, Google Android has a 61% share of the global smartphone market and Apple has a 20% share. Android has a 53% share of the American smartphone market, while Apple iPhone controls 24%. Korea’s Samsung is making a play for the low-cost cell phone market in Asia, but it will take a huge hit as new Asian players are about to offer better deals. Furthermore, Apple has inked a deal with China Mobile and its 700 million subscribers to probably offer a cheap iPhone.

Capacity to innovate...my a$$.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Yes. Obama’s surrender monkey policy of bowing and weakness and his conduct in relation to former US allies in Egypt and Libya has branded him as unrealiable and weak.ARF wants nothing to do with him, for Obama will start Muslim revolutions in each of their nations, if he can.

The United STates of Zimbabwe now retreats from its devolving sphere of influence in the Pacific.Perhaps while Obarfma is in Hawaii over Christmas, a few Chinese drones will overfly POSHITUS and drop a few cannisters of gas on him, just to make the point.
