The devil finally reveals his hand. The Republicans will be idiots if they give it to him. From the very beginning, this whole charade has been about raising the debt ceiling. All the Republicans have to do is to say 'No'. Give Obama everything he wants EXCEPT for raising the debt ceiling. It will be a winning issue with the American people. And on top of that, Obama can do absolutely nothing without more Quantitative Easing the printing of the money. If the Republicans had stuck to their guns 15 months ago, Obama would no longer be in office.

they call it “quantitative easing” in order to obfuscate what they’re doing,
“print money” might be more accurate and descriptive to people who understand what that does,

but “devaluing the dollar” or “making your dollars worth less” would be more direct for the low information voter.
