Exactly - the “green zone” is also being/been dissolved.
I have a friend in Florida that has a $1 million+ mansion on the ocean; 200 feet away are projects. Very, very bad looking projects.
My first question to him was: “Did you never look at the place in the daylight?” Followed up with: “If you’re that blind, you shouldn’t be driving.”
I told him he was insane on many levels to buy (and stay) there because when TSHTF time comes, unless he can take off instantly in his boat, he has no escape route; the contraband are right there. Dummy.

That is why the “Asbury Park Renaissance” never happened; they tried to lure people with money back there after it became a welfare reservation (even lowering themselves to courting deviants - they have money because they can’t breed), but anyone who went down there could “meet & greet” the neighbors (including the five permanently-dependent wards of the sate and the one law enforcement officer each newcomer would have to provide for). In the end it never happened; building stood half-finished and Asbury Park NJ is on ghosttowns.com (even though some people live there).
