They started that last year, they called it ‘tax revenues’ instead of ‘tax increases.
They use this because they are dying for a deal with Obama.

Take the Norquist coded language :
Voting for a bill extending the partial set of tax cuts is now coded as the phrase ‘voting to raise taxes’ because those opposing those cuts know it is a loser.
After all, extend those tax cuts and NO Republican must vote for a tax increase unlike Bohners plans.

Bohner is using both dishonest terms. And Screw Norquist for his role in it.

My theory is that Bohner is willing to be humiliated by Obama and cursed at by Republicans for proposing raising taxes in the hope that he will get Obama to be the front man for entitlement reform.

Why is this so important to him that he would take such a painful route?
Because he believes that only a Dem can get away with cutting entitlements.
So he is willing to go along with this no win strategy.
