Can we just confiscate every gun in the hand of civilians?Then there would be zero deaths by gun violence.
But wait a minute....how do we get the guns from criminals and law breakers? I don’t think they will willingly give up their gun by suddenly abiding laws. They are law breakers in the first place because they do not follow law they do not like.
The liberals never explain how they will accomplish the task of getting guns out of the hands of law breakers. So if all guns were made illegal, only the law abiding people would have no guns while criminals still have them.

It’s not the guns. It’s the carbon and sulfur and potassium nitrate. We must ban all access to these insipid chemicals NOW. No more volcanoes spewing sulfur, no more semi-burnt cellulosic material and no saving urine. It’s for the children.
Of course government will still have guns. In the last 100 years or so more people have been killed by governments than by criminals unless you count the criminals in the employ of governments. I don’t trust anyone who doesn’t want me to have a gun.
