At what point will Catholics admit that their church is pretty much dead in the Western world? I’m not trying to be flippant, but I have NEVER met a genuine Catholic under the age of 50. The Catholics who take things seriously are bound to die out, eventually Catholicism will be like Judaism in the Western world: something with a minute number of serious adherents, but a lot of secular people taking on the name, the cultural trappings, etc., and calling it their “religion.”
Wait until they begin to “age” and the “reality” of life hits them “hard and very hard”. They they will begin the process of rediscovering the faith.
