If you have guns at home protect them like they are gold. Don’t leave all your guns at home when you are out, if someone has broken in they have access to your home defense. Don’t let it be known that you have guns or anything else of value for that matter.Make your place uninviting to a burglar in any way you can. Know your neighbors
I just put mine in the safe when I’m gone. Right next to many pounds of black and smokeless powder and primers.
If they decide to cut it open, the blast will be heard miles away.
We do our best to look like the poorest folks on the block, so to speak. Old cars, a couple in the back yard, trim I have been meaning to paint for a couple of years, let some of the shrubbery get unkempt, etc. I don't even let family members know what is here. There are some I don't particularly trust.
