Obama thinks he can strong arm the producing class to subsidize the parasite class. He believe that if frightens the Republicans in to supporting his policies, vs. going over the fiscal cliff, all will be find.

But with a debt of 16 trillion dollars, the days of overspending will soon be coming to an end.

There are two crisis on the horizon, the “fiscal cliff” and America's inability to borrow to pay for all it's spending. Obama and the MSM may frighten the Republicans into voting for tax increases on then”wealthy,” but there is nothing that Obama or the MSM can do to forestall the economic collapse. Obama’s people may riot and loot the stores, but you can only loot the stores once. Then what happens?

My impression is that there is a deep abyss that lies beyond the fiscal cliff.

The Fed is, in effect, just printing money to pay for Obama reckless spending. This will not end well. Eventually, to quote Obama's pastor and mentor Jeremiah Wright, "America's chickens are coming home to roost!"

AFAIK, the world has never seen hyperinflation in a Western welfare state economy before. It's going to be interesting to watch what happens -- at least if you're a safe distance away from urban areas with large populations that are dependent on gov't transfer payments.

What makes you think that Republicans are supporting his tax increases? Are you forgetting that we do not have the Senate, so what ever dingy Harry Reid says goes, and that arrogant pos occupant will sign the bill
