“What about workers comp? Since it benefits employees, should the employees pay the premiums on that too?”
//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

Apples and oranges, workman’s comp covers injury or sickness CAUSED by the job, not general medical care having nothing to do with employment. It actually protects the employer who would otherwise have to come up with the money to pay damages to workers injured on the job.

You need an education in WC. About 85+ percent is fraud and has nothing to do with work related injuries. Everyone but you seems to know this.

Some of the insurance companies don't want to spend the dollars investigating them, so they just settle, and then turn around and jack up the employers rates to cover the settlements. And they wonder why the fraud is out of control.

BTW, employers routinely try and pay for their illegal workers treatment when they allegedly get injured, in an effort to stop their WC rates from going up.
