For my edification, how does one go Galt in present day America?

I know the location was secret, but I have heard no stories of a present day Galt’s gulch.

Similarly, in 1994, I ceased my normal day to day job pursuits and began to function at a much slower level. It was some would say a forced retirement in that I ceased operating my primary business. Serendipity provided new and different business that allows me to keep my hand in but at a 25% level compared to the years before.

I now do not read the newspapers or participate in many local civic activities. Since Free Republic is no longer an activist force, I no longer engage is such.

Have I gone Galt too?
