MA is a funny state. Scott Brown ran as an independent. He emphasized that he voted with the Republicans close to 50% of the time and voted with the Democrats close to 50% of the time. He found prominant MA Democrats (like Ray Flynn)who supported him and he put them on TV in ads tells MA voters why Scott Brown could get things done for the state.
And the voters rejected him -- because he was an extemist. A zealous right-winger. A "teabagger".
They felt much more comfortable with someone like Elizabeth Warren.

(Global Warming is a religion, and I don't want to be taxed to pay for a faith that is not mine.)
Some of my friends who vote straight Dem tickets say it was a “great day for America”. I ask them what that means. They have no answer.
