No, I’m sorry, but yours is the ludicrous assertion. He doesn’t have anything close to absolute power, even though he might think he does. If he really did, we wouldn’t be commenting on this article, because it wouldn’t exist. He’d already have done whatever he wanted, because he wouldn’t need to screw around with Congress or worry about public fallout.
Also, he has no need to try and make an end run around the Constitution, when he could just put Michelle Obama up in 2016 and all the lemmings would rush to vote for her.
Let’s revisit this in 2016 and see who’s assertion is ludicrous.
