Democrats negotiate with Republicans the way wife beaters negotiate with their wives.

No income tax refunds this year. That money has already been paid, so no one should miss it.

I went to twitter last night and suggesed on #My2K that 100% should pay 1% and end class warfare. Tell your congressperson.
Surprisingly enough I did not receive any negative comments from libs.
It was fun.
I replied to a lib even and got no flack. The lib was saying that we grew to a mighty country through big income tax and I was able to inform her that we had no income tax before 1913 and then it was 1% just to pay for the WAR. Then in 1943 the Gov got to deduct from your paycheck for the WAR and it was downhill from there.

The rats have a heck of a negotiating position - - they don't have to bring anything to the table.

Have you noticed how the attention of the Democrat "mainstream" news media is focused entirely on what the Republicans will "give up"; what the Republicans will relent on; what the Republicans will cave on? So... what, exactly, are the rats bringing to the table?

NOT... ONE... WORD... about what Ubama and the rats are willing to give up, or cave on, or even offer, to get a deal done. (What would that be, anyway - - an agreement to "slow the rate of spending growth"? Big whup.) No matter WHAT the Republicans do, the newsrooms will blame them for both spending "cuts" AND tax hikes. The rats have nothing at stake! What's to "negotiate"? Talk about a lose/lose situation for the GOP.... Whew.

Absolutely the best thing that can happen is to go over the "fiscal cliff". The Republicans at this point should be strategizing how to make sure Ubanga and the rats catch as much of the blame as possible. The PR game starts YESTERDAY for the Republicans, and they are already playing catch-up - - the rats have been working on it all along.

By the way, an added bonus to failing to cave to the rats and strike a deal is that the GOP House can then wrap the upcoming debt ceiling debate around Ubanga's neck.
