I’m sorry for your trouble. Maybe you should consider one of the paperwhite Kindles that uses Amazon’s 3G Wireless. That way, you won’t have to go through your router, since the 3G connects directly to Amazon through Sprint. It’s pretty foolproof, and I’ve even connected to Amazon in Puerto Rico. Of course, you won’t be able to surf the internet with the Paperwhite, but you’ll be able to shop in the Amazon book store and download books effortlessly on your Kindle. To be honest, I have a Kindle Fire, but I don’t use it a lot, I very much prefer to use the Kindle as an E-reader, and the older Kindles do that flawlessly.

"She who must be obeyed" has directed me to purchase a new router, because apparently after much back and for the with Amazon Cust. Sup. they've informed me we managed to purchase one of the few Wireless routers that won't work with Kindles very well.

So I am headed to Wally World to buy another Router since I successfully hooked up to McDonald's WiFI earlier. We have had issues with this router and our new Printer but we just quit trying with it and ran a cable. Yet it works fine with any laptop we hook to it.

Oh well, I love going to Wally World on the first of the month. Its great training for when the inevitable Zombiepocalypse commences.

I was getting about 10% of the wired speed to my computer, when using my iPad wirelessly. I called the company and they helped me reset the router, and I now get almost same speed wired or wireless..

I am a;; Apple (iMac 24", MacBook 13", iPad, iPhone...) and they just work. I am a user, not a tinkerer! My newest device is iPhone 4...

Well my friend just tried his iPhone 5 for wifi on my router and it won’t connect so there goes that theory that they “just work”...
