We need to hijack and ridicule this PR stunt. Obama expects us to be depressed and roll over. Don't give him what he wants. I say we fight

estimated $2,200 tax increase that a typical middle-class family of four would see if the Bush tax cuts expire. Wait a minute - the "Bush tax cuts" are responsible for the whole national debt, aren't they?
Why is getting rid of them now a BAD thing?

Add that to the expiring 2% reduction in SS payments working folks are receiving......which by the way caused SS payment output to exceed receipts FOR THE FIRST TIME.

So in other words, he's holding the tax cuts hostage and using them as a dangling carrot to make sure the GOP follow along like good little donkeys moderates.

I would like to push for free entry into movies for all people making 40,000/year or less, a nationalized attorney access program that caps the amount of money attorney's can ask for - and does away with hourly rates (replaced with lump sum amounts, e.g. drafting a will costs X, setting up a trust, costs y, etc. etc.), the equivalent of ‘public housing’ for people who don't make enough money to be able to afford going to the trendiest restaurants in NYC and LA (a law requiring that at least 15% of tables are set aside for those who can't afford to eat at those establishments - and the ability to eat there with food stamps), free access to online music for those making less than $50,000/year, etc. etc. I'd love to see the hypocritical left (but I repeat myself) react when their elitist enclaves are threatened. They have always needed to be hoisted by their own petards.

His whole term thus far has been nothing more than one campaign stunt after another. I don’t expect that will stop....and neither will I.

I sure hope these government-class cliff dwellers don’t fall off of their “fiscal cliff”. :)

Isn’t the share of the national debt of each person something like 56K? Maybe we should answer with THAT number. LOL!

There hasn’t been the slightest suggestion about what they’re going to do about the real problems, and that’s entitlements,” said Sen. Orrin Hatch of Utah, the top Republican on the Senate Finance Committee. “ (from AP yahoo news)
Deflection from both Federal sides ....another one of the 2008 bailout babies speak.
No hint of actually REDUCING bureaus, contractors, and agencies.
All government comes at the expense of the private sector.....including fire and police.....state.
