Sounds like a pretty easy GOP pickup in 2014, assuming the GOP nominates the Conservative Party-endorsed candidate.

You know what’s sick? Saland won the GOP primary over the Conservative (same guy) by only 107 votes. He lost he Conservative primary by 60 points (less than 400 votes total were cast).
The combined GOP and Conservative vote was 56%. Saland got 60% in 2010 and 58% in 2008. So barring another screwup the rat will be a 1-termer.
