Romney is more of a relentless machine of wealth and power than Giuliani.
Mitt Romney was born into a powerful dynasty of Mormon royalty, and was the son of a rich and powerful presidential candidate and a Senate candidate mother, Giulini just didn’t have that same oomf, to carry him past a Mitt Romney, who powered out Giuliani in the 2008 primary process.
The shrieking insultomonkies that told the rest of us we were ignorant savages for not supporting him in the primaries were tehsame.
Heck, they told us they didn’t need conservatives at all.

Same behavior in support of Guiliani, same behavior in support of Romney.
Only this time around, Romney had been preordained by the RNC to be the candidate.
Guiliani didn’t have any such ‘dispensation’ at the time.
I suspect they may dust him off for 2016.
