Jesse Jackson Jr. shielding his wife
Chicago Sun-Times ^ | November 24, 2012 | Lynn Sweet

Posted on 11/26/2012 3:53:24 AM PST by Cincinatus' Wife

It looks like former Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr.(D-Ill.), who resigned Wednesday, is trying to take any potential heat off of his wife, Ald. Sandi Jackson (7th)—who is also his campaign manager.

I’m told that Sandi Jackson has hired her own legal representation as her husband’s lawyers try to work out a deal in the ongoing federal probe of his campaign finances.....

....According to campaign finance disclosures, Sandi Jackson has been drawing $5,000-a-month payments from her husband’s main campaign fund through her firm, J. Donnatella and Associates. Her company has been on the Jackson campaign payroll for years, and it is located, according to FEC records, in the couples’ Washington red-brick rowhouse off DuPont Circle. Sandi Jackson was deeply involved in the South Side and south suburban political operation the couple put together — run for a time from the basement of their Chicago home....

The Jackson Crisis Managers

Jackson’s legal team hired Washington’s premier crisis management firm — Smith & Company — to help Jackson navigate through his troubled waters. The principles are Judy Smith and Christopher Garrett.

Smith hit the news, again, in recent days when Jill Kelley, the Tampa socialite who figures in the former CIA Director David Petraeus sex scandal, retained Smith to represent her. The ABC show “Scandal” leading character, Olivia Pope, is based on Smith, a co-executive producer of the series......

....Kelley’s hiring of Smith triggered a [NYT] Nov.16 story on Smith headlined “Another Client for Ms. Fix-It.” The Washington Post on Nov. 22 featured Smith and other lawyers and media managers as the “power players” in the Petraeus saga.

Smith shot to fame herself when she represented Monica Lewinsky during the investigation of former President Bill Clinton that led to his impeachment. Smith also has repped other scandalized figures, including former Sen. Larry Craig (R-Idaho) and NFL player Michael Vick.....

I’ll bet JJ jr is using campaign funds to pay for his high priced legal talent. Is this legal?

If we had a real Justice Dept. instead of one run by a crook, Eric Holder, they’d be investigating the entire criminal enterprise of the Democrat party in Chicago.
The RICO law could be used but won’t be because these vipers are Obama’s homies.

It’s not really. He is shielding their income which is drained of through his wife’s firm.

The good news is Ms. Fixit’s Clients have pretty much been impossible to defend. The value of her service appears dubious at best. The Jackson’s are toast.

Now you see I look at that from a different perspective.

He has to shield her to shield himself.

They are in this together and if he can stop an investigation of her they will not find how deeply.
We don’t know what perfidies her firm Donnatella and Associates is into. Is this where the supporters of JJ Jr. make their contributions? Payoffs?

To me this case mirrors one we had here in Maryland when Prince Georges County Commissioner Jack Johnson and his wife were ripping off PG County

http://www.fbi.gov/baltimore/press-releases/2011/former-prince-georges-county-executive-jack-johnson-sentenced-to-over-seven-years-in-federal-prison-for-federal-extortion-and-bribery

Check out Jacksons wife’s brassiere and maybe like Mrs. Johnson you will find $80,000 dollars hidden.LMAO

People familiar with the Md. Case will know what I mean or google it.LMAO

Did everyone know that they found maxine waters totally innocent of all wrongding?? LMAO As if any other conclusion had any chance of happening.

"Jackson’s legal team hired Washington’s premier crisis management firm"

Crisis management in DC. Smith's firm is as busy as a brothel in in an old western mining town (but without the respect).

Sure he wants to shield his wife because she will be his only source of income when this is all over.

That was obvious when he stated recently the he and he alone takes responsibility. That should have been a clue to the Feds that his wife had her hands in the campaign funds and was as guilty as he. And the $5,000/mo to her firm??? what for???

Right now the house, accounts, everything down to his underwear are being transferred into her name.

These Chicago people, including our #1 scoundrel, are as filthy as anyone ever involved in politics. These people are despicable, yet they keep getting elected and have now even infiltrated the White House.

I just can’t believe that people are just so set on freebies that they can’t see through the fact that they are slaves to the government. This whole brood is disgusting.

After watching “Boss” on Starz, I have an entirely new perspective on the level of corruption in politics, especially Chicago. A pity that the show has been cancelled.

Being a lame duck president for the next four years, Obamanation doesn't need Jackson pere OR fils anymore.

Nor does he need Sharpton, Calypso Louie or any of the other race/poverty pimps. He's almost entirely supported nationwide by blacks even without the help of these so-called "leaders".

They'll all be thrown under the Greyhound.........and the pimping will be left to Obama and his DC thugocracy exclusively.

Bye, bye, Junior.

I count that as a plus for him.

It looks like he was using her to launder campaign money into personal income. If she's investigated, she will likely throw HIM under the bus to protect herself. She's likely told him that she's unwilling to get into legal trouble over this, and WILL throw him under the bus.

$5,000-a-month just another dem shell game it happenes every day.

If anybody starts really digging, it will not be surprising to find that other recipients of his campaign cash were doing kickbacks as well.

Completely believable, what with the crowd governing the country.
