So x disagrees with y. Who gives a damn?
Romney was the nominee because he got more votes in the primaries.
He should have won the election, and he did not. The clown from Kenya got more votes.
From what I've read, and I could be wrong, the "base" of the Republican party did turn out. 8 out of 10 white evangelicals (no sodomite "marriage", no abortion) voted for Romney...and 9 out of 10 blacks voted for Obamugabe.
Let each conservative "pundit" (and they're ALL in it for some degree of money, let's not kid ourselves) have their say, then we can ingest it, and THEN let's focus on 2014.
All this infighting CRAP is what happened to the Democrat party in the 1980s and they were a mess...let's not let the same thing happen to us.
Much like 2008 where McCain and Palin were blamed for losing the election we are now trying to lay the blame at Romney/Ryan. In 2008 if Lehman had not gone under and Bush gone on national TV crying for TARP, we win. In 2012 without Sandy and the Christy hug we probably win. In both cases we were up when once in a life time events distracted to mostly ignorant populace to vote for a community organizer
When we run conservatives for president we win every time, when we run RINO losers we lose every time....we were stupid stupid stupid to fall for the GOP-e lies again and this time we may have damned our nation to socialist perdition for it.
..Say, what!..infighting.. I think we are only seeing the liberal wing vs the conservative wing. Ann has some issues, let’s be real. Honestly, we will not win 2014 until the conservatives take the driver’s seat of leadership and as well as controlling the message/which needs to be replaced with the political correctness noise that we hear daily by the old worn out establishment. Guess, that will never happen..Sometimes, I wonder if over the years, if conservatives maybe moving on..I just hope it’s not too late if this is so— to bring them back on board. We need them. They have much common sense. Term limits, we need that too so we can get rid of these career politicians. Also, we need to call out the unfaithful. It has to be done. Do it, then move on.
He WOULD have; if FR had banned all the HATEFUL bigots that infest the place!

Romney was the nominee because he got more votes in the primaries.
Romney was the nominee because of the false wins early in the primaries. Without that momentum he wouldn’t have won the nomination. Did I mention the 4 year campaign to open the primaries in the blue states so the democrats could pick our nominee?
The "base" of "CONSERVATIVES" did NOT vote for Romney. Until these numbnutz finally get a clue (Bush, Dole, McCain, Romney) republican's will be a minority for a long time!
The sky is up, what more do the cowering rino loving "republicans" need to know?
Romney was the nominee because he got more votes in the primaries.

Let’s talk about why Romney REALLY won the primaries.
1) He was the GOPe’s choice - they were supporting him and going on about he was the ‘most electable’. It was Mitt’s ‘turn’.
2) Romney bought many of his early endorsements by giving money 2-4 yrs ago and calling in his markers (John Thune was one of many). Romney plays the game well.
3) The media supported a Romney nomination and was soft on him early on because they knew he couldn’t win against Obama (as many of us on here warned about).
4) He trashed his opponents, making it personal and destroying reputations. He played hard ball during the primaries, and softball during the general.
5) He managed to keep almost everyone else out of the VA primaries (which is what turned the tide in his favor), by FRAUD. Has everyone forgot that Romney GOT A PASS on signature checking and had an inside man in the state GOP who wrote the letter saying that they were not going to check his petition sigs, while everyone else got scoured and several valid ones were dismissed leaving Romney and Paul the only ones in VA.
Those are the reasons Romney won the primary - not because he was the best or even a good candidate. We got played by the GOP.
Here is my take on the election--or better, what we should be focusing on now:
