Moonbats’ remorse
Boston Herald ^ | 11/25/2012 | Howie Carr

Posted on 11/25/2012 4:34:50 AM PST by tobyhill

Sin in haste, repent at leisure.

One of the few silver linings in the dark cloud of Obama’s re-election is that millions of moonbats and Beautiful People who voted this month to continue our long national nightmare are now discovering, much to their chagrin, that they’re as screwed as all the “bitter clingers” who still go to church on Sunday.

Not that it was any big secret, but it’s asking an awful lot of the dumbed-down modern electorate to pay attention to its own best interests.

Of course tens of millions of Obama’s votes came from the people he likes to describe as “working families,” most of whom aren’t families and almost none of whom have worked since Lyndon Johnson. This is the freebies-for-freeloaders crowd. Think the Obamaphone woman in Cleveland.

Mitt Romney used to say they lived in “Kennedy country.” Then he called them the 47 percent. Now he says they like “gifts.”

I know, the liberals tut-tut that the gimme girls ’n’ guys pay taxes too — the sales tax, mainly, on cigarettes and their 40-ouncers. Their theme song is from “West Side Story”: “America,” as in “Everything free in America.”

But as strange as it seems, a plurality of Obama voters probably have real jobs, some even in the Dreaded Private Sector. Man, are they in dire straits.

Take the instructors at Community College of Allegheny County in Pittsburgh.

Their hours are being cut back so the college can get around Obamacare. All you teachers, hope you enjoy being adjunct professors, because you ain’t getting tenure anytime soon. Wonder who they all voted for on Nov. 6?

I would like to think they feel remorse but I doubt it.

I haven’t seen any signs of remorse.

The uber wealthy like Lucas are working the system. They’ll mostly be fine. But those like the educators mentioned and the legions of part time workers being created will only cry for more government involvement to fix things as the US deteriorates. The politicians will only be too happy to grab more power in the name of caring.... And it’ll continues.

Clearly, Obama is going to play golf while the economy tanks, much as Nero fiddled while Rome burned.

That anyone in this modern age would actually cast a vote for our modern-day Nero is almost inconceivable.

And yet it happened, and those voters who elected this ignorant, strutting fool will be looking for work and watching their dollars shrink in value just like the rest of us.

Imbeciles all, no doubt three or four years from now they’ll all be parroting the words, “It’s Bush’s fault!”

Pass the kool aid, please!

Some are just confused and oblivious to their futures. Take a "close family member" telling me he voted for ∅bama, but really wanted the "other guy" to win.

I think we will see a tremendous growth in small corporations. They will be the 49’ers.

Small businesses will develop wholly owned corporations that subcontract the work of the primary company. The HR dept will house the subcontract unit that manages the day to day corporate trivia of minutes and tax returns and such.

Yes and that is what scares me more than anything else. That thought struck me this afternoon. I don’t care what happens...they will never be able to add one and one to get two. Somehow, it will always be Bush’s fault (or someone else) but they will never be able to lay the blame where it belongs. We are so screwed.

A close friend hasn't had a steady job over the last four years. But she still voted for Obama.

Whatever the problem, the true believers don't blame Obama. They blame corporate America, the “greedy rich,” President Bush, everyone but Obama. Nothing is ever his fault. He just needs “more time” to fix things.

Heaven help us all if and when he does fix things. But the believers will still blame others.

Now the limousine liberals in Congress are clamoring that they may have to “revisit” Obamacare, to stop all these evil corporations (and nonprofits) from switching everybody from employee to contractor.

Changing employees from employees to contractors was shut down here in Illinois several years ago. Targeted were those small companies who hand out samples in super markets. They were found to be evading state taxes, unemployment premiums and workers compensation premiums by calling their employees, "contractors".

A little after that, the state went after car dealers who were paying their sales people on a commission only basis. There were sales people who were not making minimum wage in the off season. It was ruled the dealers couldn't work the system that way and had to pay at least minimum wage every single week of the year.

Where there's a loop hole, government will close it and government will also close loop holes that allow companies to have a full staff of "part time" employees.

How about the Walton family, the owners of Wal-Mart.

Their scheme is to pay out this quarter’s dividends on Dec. 27 instead of Jan. 2. That’ll save ’em a cool $180 million. The rich get richer and the poor get ... part-time jobs.

As major stock holders it will save the Waltons a lot of money, it will save me money too as a stock holder, just not as much.

Remember when a 4 percent unemployment rate was a “jobless recovery?” Those were the good old days.

This is the part I like best. This is what I think when people say no more bushes.
The media did such a hatchet job on him that even I have been known to badmouth him.

BS! There were “remorse” articles written afetr the 1st time around and look what happened.

I work in an office with 3 other guys. Two are conservatives, the other claims to be a conservative but didn’t like Bush in ‘08 so he voted Obama. The two conservatives are better friends with him then I am and claim he voted Romney. I say BS. He says things that make me believe otherwise. My bologna meter says “no way”.

You can’t change the stripes.

The poor will end up being the big losers.

Those that work will work fewer hours for less pay, & all will suffer from rampant inflation. At some point, the gov’t checks will just stop coming or will be worthless. Anarchy will soon follow.
