Actually I know of TWO people who have used FOIA requests to get the data behind the ‘36000 dead’ statistic used to justify universal flu vaccination. Which, btw, was the number in ‘04. So, now that flu vaccination rates have doubled or nearly so since then, what’s the new death number? Have they checked? Why or why not? Flu vaccines are currently a 2 to 3 BILLION dollar item right now. Wouldn’t it be great to see, independently, if they actually worked?

You and I have a choice wrt flu shot (or any other) this year. In ‘14 that changes.

Actually, those questions are the subject of a great deal of ongoing research. Given the high number of illnesses and deaths caused by the flu, there is a great deal of interest within the medical community in knowing those answers.
