Flu vaccines used in the US are made in the US, Canada, and Europe. You can look it up yourself. Here is a list of the companies selling approved vaccines in the US. Hint: Anti-vax sites are NOT good sources of information.
Also, that Baxter story is mostly sensationalism. The vaccine was an experimental vaccine, which means that it did not go through the QC process that any vaccine manufactured for patient use would go through. It was NOT a vaccine meant for human use.

That bird flu virus walked ITSELF out of a level 3-4 containment facility in an R&D unit in the US midwest. Then it somehow walked itself across the entire north american continent to the east coast. There, it either boarded a ship or an airplane. Again, by itself. Then on reaching the far side of the Atlantic ocean it somehow managed to walk across half of Europe to a manufacturing facility. Then managed to walk itself INSIDE of the manufacturing facility to the vat containing the vaccine. Accidentally mind you.
I worked R&D and manufacturing. That was no accident. That virus had help. *Deliberate* help. R&D badges don’t work at manufacturing facilities and vice versa. Unless you’re management, or an approved visitor. *Someone* deliberately took that sample from the R&D facility in this country, got on a plane, flew to europe, deplaned, managed to get INTO the manufacturing facility and INTO the room with the big giant vat and PUT that virus in there.
If that QC is so poor why should we trust their QC at all? Level 3 samples don’t just *walk out* of R&D facilities. Nor do they just *walk in* manufacturing facilities.

Now, that last link is probably little consolation to the families but we can hope.
Vaccines are a different story though. They are indemnified. Completely. Tainted vaccines == tough noogies.
