[...you can’t have one person or group of persons controlling everything about an economy...]

All due respect but hasn’t obama done exactly that in our country?

No.

And he can't -- not because he wouldn't like to, but it is impossible

in the Soviet system, they tried to manage supply and demand for everything, with the result that, for instance, there was sudden surges in which the shops would have a lot of one type of product, say toilet paper, and then not have it for weeks.

This was because the government tried to manage supply and demand on both ends -- and that is impossible in a modern, complex economy

It can work in a small economy -- like a kibbutz or a monastery, but it is impossible to decide how many screws to make at any point in time and adjust it with the screws needed etc -- and multiple that by the billions of different products, including products that go into making other products and you'll realise why the Soviet economy basically shut down by the 80s -- the complexity was too much. Perestroika was a way to relieve some of that pressure

Take any command economy and it fails due to complexity -- the market works best.

Let me also clarify that what I described above of a centralized, command economy is Bolshevism or Leninist communism

There are other, milder forms of communism like kibbutzes etc which work if they don't force others to join -- but note that even kibbutzes and monasteries interact with the market economy

The Soviet idea of representing the people and dictating what supply was needed failed and their economies of scale were shot - they took more time and resources to produce less

Also, the Soviet system of forcing people to do certain jobs is another failure -- say you and I are programmers, but you are much better than me, but at the same time you are exceptional at financial planning -- it makes more sense for you to go into financial planning (and you'd do that to make more money) instead of competing with me

That's the market economy. the command economy is that you'd be forced to be a programmer like me

Obama's stupidity is the stupidity of leftist professors -- communism can work in a small, close-knit, equal community like a kibbutz or a monastery or a university, but it can't work in the wider economy

Obama is a lecturer who has never worked a day in his life, ergo, he thinks what works in a university can work outside -- and he's wroing

And, more so, Obama is so stupid that he can't see how what's he's doing has failed in other countries

Countries like India, China are watching what failed in the west and changing their policies -- Obama is watching what failed in other countries and IMPLEMENTING THE SAME thing, only in a far more complex economy

he's doomed to fail, and fail hard, but, BUT, note that he will cause the US to fail HARD

2020 -- the USA a third world country. That's my prediction.

Let the 47% moan after that has happened -- democrat idiots.
