“Does the name Lenny DiNardo ring a bell?”

Without Googling, he was a RS reliever/spot starter who got traded or released. I do remeber he pitched the game of his life against the RS while with Oakland.

“dreadful. I was in Brooklyn when Sciraldi-Gedman-BB had the game 6 meltdown. Sickening.

I was planning on getting to CitiField this past SEPT for my first visit. Got too busy. Try again in ‘13. Ever get to a Binghamton game in the area, like Portland, ME? Or Buffalo vs Pawsox? Or Brooklyn @ Norwich?”

I was a Mets fan, so I was happy. MacNamara was a fool for not pulling Bill Buckner in the field.

I want to go to both the new Yankee and Met stadiums. I’ve been to Lowell and Pawtucket for RS minor league games. Brooklyn would be a hoot - baseball returns to Brooklyn! :)

Brooklyn plays at CT in Norwich. And at Lowell.
DiNardo was a Mets’ farmhand, Sox got him away in a fraudulent Rule 5 selection.

Sox have De La Torre now (relief pitcher), a former Met farmhand, age 27, who the Sox got as part of the Youk trades with CHI. You remember him with Buffalo and Binghamton?
