The former director of the CIA, Hayden, was on Brian Kilmeade's radio show this week. From my understanding, he said the typical protocol was for the White House to submit their talking points to intelligence agencies for approval. They would either approve, reject or censor...but would not rewrite or insert new information. The "Clapper changed the talking points" meme is indeed an insult. I wonder why he is willingly taking the blame?
