I don’t know if it means anything, but on my “posting comments” page, when I hit preview, random words in the post and elsewhere...such as the “Loose Lips Sink Ships” statement, there are ads for credit scores, work from home, etc as links. This is on an IE window, if it makes any difference. “Properties” on one of the links says “unknown protocol”.

I’m wondering if the site hasn’t been hacked or is it something that my computer is picking up? I did get out of the window I was using and started over, but they are still there, just on different words than before.

Kinda creepy. :)

Now back to the regularly scheduled FReepathon thread.

The “Loose Lips Sink Ships” quote is ours and has been there for years, but we do not run any ads. Apparently, that is a bit of malicious code that has infected your browser. Sorry.

Not happening to me. I use Google Chrome. Your computer might have a virus.

I had that happen using FireFox and disabled some add-ons to make it stop.
